Dispatch System to Speed Settlement Process for Customers
WARREN, NJ, February 8, 2007 -- The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has enhanced its Masterpiece® Auto Preference® Services program with the installation of a new auto claims dispatch platform.
Developed by Rochester, NY-based Scene Genesis, Inc., the SceneAccess platform will electronically link Chubb and its network of preferred auto body repair shops, expediting the claim settlement process. When a car is dropped off at a repair shop, all the information about the vehicle and the customer will be available through the shop's computer system.
"More insurers have been providing their customers with access to networks of repair shops, but we've taken time, complexity and hassle out of the process for our customers," said William S. Crowley, Chubb's worldwide automobile claim manager.
"Chubb is renowned for its superb claims service, and our Web-based platform will help Chubb stay at the leading edge," said Scene Genesis CEO Ian Cunningham.
