Mitchell International Acquires Scene Genesis

Expanded portfolio offering helps improve collision repair process for shops, insurers and independent appraisers through seamless information exchange

San Diego, CA – November 5, 2009 – Mitchell International, Inc., a leading provider of information, workflow and performance management solutions to the Property & Casualty claims and Collision Repair industries today announced that it has completed the purchase of Scene Genesis. Scene Genesis is a web-based workflow and connectivity solutions provider dedicated to improving the claims handling process for insurers, independent appraisers and shops alike. Innovative products such as SceneExchange, which creates a web-based marketplace that encourages open communication among all parties involved in the repair process, and SceneAccess, an end-to-end web-based solution, put efficient claims handling into action for insurers.
