Application
SceneAccess.Net and all Scene Genesis Inc. software solutions are based on Microsoft server and client application technology and the n-tier application model.

Hardware
The SceneAccess network is secured by state of the art hardware and configuration according to Microsoft Best Practices. Access to servers and data are secured with 128mb encryption, physical security systems, pass code locked room entry, user authorization, and intrusion detection monitoring and firewalls.

Redundancy
Each server function is mirrored on multiple server machines. This means at any given time there are a number of servers ready to accept http traffic from the web for searching and uploading to the server. A Microsoft® SQL Server™ database SQL Cluster with RAID 5 SCSI device is used to ensure reliable SQL access as well as reliable data availability.

Security
Access to customer data is limited to the authorized users provided you. Home access is available via the internet. File security is separated at the document type and the department/business unit level. 128 bit Encryption is used to protect user passwords.

Persistence
We retrieve sensitive data on demand when it is needed instead of persisting or caching it in memory. We do not store sensitive user data in persistent cookies. When transmitting data we encrypt it or secure the channel. SSL is used between the client and Web server. Between application servers IPSec is used.
